With the help and blessing of ALLAH All Mighty, a group of students and residents in the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, had initiated to create Tulsa Islamic Foundation “TIF” as an Islamic non-profit organization. Tulsa Islamic Foundation is officially registered with the local government and was established on November, 18 2012.

Tulsa Islamic Foundation is a religious institute follows the “Shi’ite Ja’fari, Twelve Imami.” Some of its goals are to teach the Islamic spirit of tolerance, consolidation of social connections among the community members, seeking to educate individual about theology and jurisdictions. Also commemorate religious and social events and organizing cultural and entertaining activities.

The foundation has its own bi-law. The bi-law has been agreed upon its terms by the members of the foundation. Elections process is held every two years, through which nomination and election of the board of directors take place. Through the election it will be decided who is going to fill the administrative positions for the next two years.

The current Board of Directors consists of four members:

3-      Treasury              Anwar Alrubaye
4-      Secretary               Abbas Alkazaz
